Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved its approval of three prescription drugs for treating erectile dysfunction (ED) and pulmonary hypertension (PH).

PDE5 inhibitor-based drugs that target phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitors for ED and PH are available by prescription only. Pfizer’s three drugs are: Viagra®, Cialis®, and Levitra®, and the three PDE5 inhibitors are currently approved for the treatment of ED and PH in the United States, as well as in other European countries. Other generic medications that target PDE5 inhibitors include Sildenafil®, Tadalafil®, and Avanafil®, among others.
The three drugs were developed to target PDE5 inhibitors for ED and PH in the United States by the U. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In addition to their approved indications, Pfizer is working with FDA to develop new uses and new formulations of these three ED drugs. In addition, Pfizer is working with the FDA to develop new indications for other PDE5 inhibitors in other countries.
